Trivia night and dinner set to help care for two Kimberling City K9 officers Zesta and Sig.

The Kimberling City Elks Lodge and the Veterans of the Ozarks will host a fundraiser on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Kimberling City Elks Lodge, located at 37 Beach Blvd in Kimberling City, The fundraiser is to help raise money to support the Kimberling City K9 Police Officers.

Currently the care and feeding of the two Kimberling City K9 Officers is taken care of by their partners, K9 Handler Officer Corporal Kregel and K9 Handler Officer Andrew Boillot.

Officer Zesta and Officer Sig need funds for food, veterinarian care and their general well being.

“It is not uncommon to find that K9 Officers, in general, are supported mainly by community donations in other areas,” states the event organizers on the Facebook event page. “Therefore, we are stepping up to assist in closing the budget gap to ensure our K9 Officers receive their basic needs.”

The night’s activities include:

A Picnic Style Chicken Dinner

A K9 Officer Demonstration

Rounds of Police/Military Movie Trivia

Live Auction

Silent Action
